Our first cria of the season is SPARTAN.

Same day, Spartan's Nephew was born.  Introducing GROVER

On July 15th, 2011  We found KAZDAN already drying off.  We missed the birth completely!

August 10, 2011  Daisy decided to have her baby just moments before we opened the gates for that day's tour groups.  Little Miranda is a real social butterfly, she loves the attention.

Miranda is a special little girl.  She shows how much she loves living on Manitoulin Island by wearing the shape of the Island on her forehead!

August 11, 2011 our first Llama of the season arrived.  We would like everyone to meet SUKI.  She also chose to arrive just before the people came to visit our Alpacas.

Aug 12, 2011  Bianca went into labour but was having difficulties.  We had to help deliver the cria.  Beautiful CORTANA was born and is nice and healthy.

 Today, the first baby Alpaca, known as a cria, was born on the Manitoulin Island.  A beautiful little male was born at approximately 2:00 p.m.  Within a few hours he was up and running around.  Both mom and cria are doing fine.
